I very strongly recommend that the FIRST step in working on the fuselage should be fitting the firewall/boot cowl and completely fitting the windshield. It will be much easier to get access to these components if the fuel lines, floorboards, brake pedals and rudder pedals were not already installed. Once the windshield and boot are complete, except for riveting to the firewall, then they can be removed to be set aside until later. I do believe that it will take less time with more accuracy if done this way.
